The Arizona Cardinals first-round draft pick is having a horrific start to his career.
Scottsdale police arrested 22-year-old Zaven Collins on Sunday for excessive speed and reckless driving in the area of Scottsdale and Chaparral roads.
According to police, Collins was seen going 76 mph in a 35 mph zone at about 10:00 a.m. He was booked and released later in the day.
A few months ago, he was drafted as the 16th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
In only eight games for Tulsa in a pandemic-shortened season, Collins had 11½ tackles for loss, four sacks, four interceptions (two returned for touchdowns), two pass breakups and a blocked kick.
