Arizona Cardinals’ wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins used body language to reveal two teams he’d be interested in joining…and two teams he’d prefer to not play for.
The 30-year-old has been mentioned in plenty of trade rumors over the last three months. In January, Jordan Schultz of theScore reported that the Cardinals were looking to trade the five-time Pro Bowler.
During an appearance on “All Things Covered”, Hopkins was asked to use “body language” in response to questions about teams he’d be interested in potentially joining.
The four teams mentioned were the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs. Hopkins didn’t show any interest in joining the Pats or Jets but certainly looked excited about the idea of playing for Buffalo or Kansas City:
Bill Belichick is a known longtime fan of Hopkins, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Patriots made a push for him. The Jets would be an enticing landing spot for “Nuk” if they actually close out the deal on an Aaron Rodgers trade.

It’s no wonder Hopkins wants to join the Josh Allen-led Bills or Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs. Hopkins, entering his age 31 season, only has so many opportunities left at a Super bowl. And the Bills and Chiefs are both annual contenders with their superstar quarterbacks.
