Maxx Williams season may be in doubt.
The Arizona Cardinals tight end had to be carted off the field after his leg and knee bent in a way it was not supposed to.
The injury took place late in the second quarter of the Cards’ game against the 49ers. Williams had just hauled in his only pass of the game for 14 yards.

Williams was in the midst of a solid campaign. He was coming off a strong performance against the Rams, where he recorded 5 catches for 66 yards and a touchdown. Over the last three games he’s compiled 15 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown.
