An NFL player has gone full Ron Artest this offseason, having undergone a legal procedure to change his identification.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Robbie Anderson is drawing some jokes from the NFL world after yet another name alteration.
Anderson changed his name before the 2022/23 season, going from Robby Anderson to Robbie Anderson. But he’s done with the Robs now, dumping them completely in favor of “Chosen.” Yes, his name is Chosen Anderson now.
The wideout sought permission from the courts to make the change to his name and received a favorable reply. He’s since changed his name on social media to mark the change.
NFL fans were pretty amused by the new choice of name, with many recalling his lackluster performances over the past season while others suggested that he won’t even be chosen by the Cardinals in 2023.

Chosen started the 2022 season with the Carolina Panthers, getting off hot as he registered a 102-yard outing against the Cleveland Browns. However, that was the only good performance the wideout could manage; he played four more games for the Panthers before they traded him to Arizona.
His luck didn’t change there as he played just one game where he touched the 50-yard mark and ended the term with 282 yards and one touchdown (for both teams).
Maybe this latest name change will see a turnaround in fortunes.
