The Arizona Cardinals’ uniform drought has finally come to an end, with the team revealing new threads for next season during a special event that streamed live from their social media accounts.
The Cards have been teasing new unis for some time now, having closed their official team shop a while back. And, on Thursday night, they made the reveal their fans were dying to see, showing off some brand-new gear for the first time since 2005.
Three new uniforms have been unveiled which you could see right below:
“The three main things we focused on were, how do we tell the traditional story and amplify some elements from the past, how do we bring it through the lens of modern-classic so it feels fresh, unique, and different for the franchise, and also how are we inclusive of all the fans in Arizona and the players as well, to get people really excited for what is coming with this uniform?” Kristi Lauzonis, Nike’s design director of licenses and team, explained via the team’s official website.
The home red jersey has “ARIZONA” flashing above the number and across the front, which is a first, with perforated twill numbers outlined in silver. Embroidered on the inside color are the words “Protect The Nest.”

The white away kit features red and silver stripes on the jersey’s shoulder and the pants. The red numbers are bordered in black, while the words “Bird Gang” are stitched into the inside collar.
The alternate uni, a sleek black fit, has silver and red striping on the shoulder and pants. “Bird Gang” also features inside the collar, with the red numbers outlined with silver stitching.
The helmets for the home and away uniforms both have a silver facemask, as well as a 3D bird head logo which is bigger than the last, with silver flakes adding to the aesthetics. The black uniform goes along with the alternate helmet introduced last season, but with a bigger logo.
