Arizona Cardinals QB Brett Hundley has some major issues off the field going on and his ex-wife is coming after him.
Court documents were obtained by The Blast that show he is being sued by his ex-wife for alleged battery, domestic violence, emotional distress and negligence dating back to January 2016. She is unnamed and described as ‘Jane Doe’ in the suit.
“Doe details an alleged domestic violence incident in January 2016. She says they were having an argument and she tried to go upstairs to stop. She claims he proceeded to follow her and hit her with a paper cylindrical stick. Later in the night, she claims he grabbed her, shook and threw her around the bedroom, threw her on the bed and began choking her.
The suit reads, “Only upon pleas of “I can’t breathe” did Defendant cease his attacks upon Plaintiff. In addition to severe mental trauma, Plaintiff also suffered a fractured ankle.”
It got even worse:
“During the relationship, Doe says she regularly got STD tests, which always came back negative. However, she claims in July 2016, her then-husband went to Vegas for a bachelor’s party. She accuses him of having unprotected sex with an unknown number of women.
In January 2017, she says an STD test she took came back as positive for Chlamydia. Doe says the NFL star would later test positive for the same STD. Doe says Hundley “admitted” he likely infected her with Chlamydia.
Months later, she claims they got into an argument over the STD when he “grabbed Plaintiff, threw her onto a pool table, and repeatedly shoved her body against his pool table.”
In March, the Cardinals re-signed Hundley to a one-year deal worth a reported $1.04 million.
The 26-year-old was playing for the Packers during the time-frame the abuse is alleged to have taken place.
