If the Arizona Cardinals wanted Josh Rosen to feel like they were behind him 100%, they are doing a terrible job of it publicly.
General Manager Steve Keim was answering questions at the scouting combine when he was posed a question to himself of whether Rosen is their starter going forward. His answer raised even more questions.
“Is Josh Rosen our QB?” Keim told reporters on Wednesday at the NFL Scouting Combine. “He is right now, for sure.”
Just in case you forgot, the Cardinals have the #1 overall draft pick in the 2019 draft, and before he ended up taking the job, new head coach Kliff Kingsbury stated he’d take Kyler Murray with the first choice if he had the chance.
He now has his chance.
Asked about the possibility of drafting the Heisman Trophy winner who spurned the A’s for the NFL, Keim was evasive.

“It’s still early in the process,” Keim said. “We haven’t gone through our full evaluation at all the position, so really it’s, again, too early to say.”
Last season, Rosen put up a 66.7 passer rating, throwing 11 touchdowns to 14 interceptions and completing 55 percent of his passes.
