A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Arizona Cardinals offensive tackle Desmond Harrison by police in Greensboro, North Carolina after they charged him with assault on a person by strangulation and assault on a woman by a man.
The Arizona Cardinals heard the news and wasted no time removing themselves from the situation by releasing him from the roster.
Greensboro Police Department spokesman Ron Glenn told Eric Edholm of Yahoo Sports the report was filed against Harrison on Tuesday.
Harrison was with the Cardinals just over a month when he was claimed off waivers after he was waived by the Cleveland Browns on June 6th.
