The Arizona Cardinals have finally given fans what they wanted, or perhaps not…
The team made quite a big deal of revealing their new uniforms for the 2023/24 season, presenting them at the end of a special live event with fans in attendance streamed via YouTube and Twitter.
“When we were looking at all of the different options and considering the elements we wanted to have involved, one of the things is we wanted a really clean look,” owner Michael Bidwill was quoted as saying.
The unveiling was the first as it pertains to Cards unis since 2005, so it was quite a long wait – 18 years to be exact. The reveal took place at Phoenix’s The Van Buren, with the team going all red for home affairs, white for away, plus an alternate black kit.
The social media reaction to the drop suggests most fans hate them all, with some comparing them to college uniforms.
