Actress and model Camille Kostek has been in a relationship with former star NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski for over seven years now. In a recent Instagram post, Kostek noted that last week marked nine years since the two first met.
Kostek was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots, Gronkowski’s first NFL team, for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. In the Instagram post, Kostek detailed that the former Pro Bowler found a way to slip her his phone number through another former Patriots player Jermaine Wiggins, who now works at WEEI in the Boston area.
In the post, Kostek admitted that she “broke” the team’s cheerleading rules by calling Gronkowski, adding “it was worth it.”
The Patriots went on to defeat the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49 in Glendale, Arizona, in what would be Kostek’s final game as a Patriots cheerleader before she decided to explore other opportunities.
Gronkowski played with the Patriots from 2010 to 2018, winning Super Bowl championships in the 2014, 2016 and 2018 seasons. Gronkowski, who dealt with a plethora of injuries throughout his playing career, retired from football after winning his third championship.
The future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee spent one year in retirement before deciding to join old friend Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. The latter left the Patriots after 20 years and decided to join the Buccaneers in free agency on a two-year deal.
