Cameras caught Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott receiving a death stare from a teammate on the sideline after a missed field goal in the second quarter in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Washington Commanders.
With the Eagles leading by eight midway through the second quarter, Jake Elliott missed a 54-yard field goal that would have put his team up by two scores. The veteran kicker was nowhere close to this kick that sailed way-wide-right:

It’s an unwritten rule for NFL players to never berate their teammates on the sidelines when they screw up. Elliott’s teammates followed that rule, but cameras caught one player giving him the ultimate death stare when the his back was turned:
