Cameras caught an interesting interaction between Philadelphia Eagles security head “Big Dom” DiSandro and a fan during Sunday’s win over the Dallas Cowboys.
Big Dom is a popular figure among Eagles fans, and not just because he’s succeeded in his role as their chief security officer. Everyone remembers his sideline confrontation with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw a year ago that led to a temporary ban, after all.
DiSandro had to work a little harder to earn his paycheck today, though. After third-string QB Tanner McKee threw his first NFL touchdown to AJ Brown, the star wideout tossed the football into the stands.
And Big Dom had to go over and retrieve it from the fan:

Don’t feel too bad for the Eagles fan who had to give back the ball, folks. Brown actually tracked the fan down after the game and provided them with his signed game-worn jersey:

Big Dom Was Promoted Before Start Of 2024 Season
Aside from his role as the Eagles’ security head, Big Dom was assigned a new role during the offseason. The team named him their new Director of Gameday Coaching Operations, too.
