Cam Newton needs a new home after the Carolina Panthers parted ways with him this offseason.
The Los Angeles Chargers need a quarterback, unless they plan on going forward with Tyrod Taylor under center.
Both of those QB’s just sparked up a bunch of rumors after Newton worked out with the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback recently. Taylor posted a picture of he and Newton working out together on his Instagram at an undisclosed location.
The 30-year-old Newton is coming off a shortened 2019 campaign that saw him have foot surgery after Week 2. Before that, he was rehabbing his right shoulder after going under the knife.
Yet still, he is the same man who accounted for 45 total touchdowns and being named NFL MVP while leading his team to a Super Bowl 50 appearance.
The Chargers have the cap space, but will they actually pull the trigger.
