Cam Newton is back….throwing passes into the ground.
During Sunday’s game, Carolina was at mid-field when their quarterback got the ball and threw a horrific pass behind the line of scrimmage that hit nothing but turf.
Even if his teammate would’ve caught it, he would’ve been blasted for a big loss after the catch anyway. But Robby Anderson never stood a chance on this pass, and he was blasted by a Bills defender for his troubles anyway.
IT was a rough day for Newton through the air, as he managed to complete just 18 of his 38 pass attempts for 156 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He was much more effective on the ground, with 71 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries. But it wasn’t enough, as the Bills cruised to an easy 31-14 victory.
