Cam Newton had Bank of America Stadium rocking on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to will his team to a win.
The Washington Football Team got its second straight victory by defeating the Carolina Panthers on their home field. And once the final whistle blew, one Washington player just couldn’t hold back, as he decided to get the last laugh while making his way to the locker room.
Newton finished with 189 yards and two touchdown passes while only missing six throws (21-for-27). He also had 10 rushes for 46 yards and a touchdown.
On his touchdown run, Cam ran to midfield, slammed the ball down, and did his signature Superman celebration.

Taylor Heinicke matched Newton’s performance as he finished with 206 yards and three touchdowns.
With the loss, the Panthers fall to 5-6.
