One things for sure will be that Cam Newton will not play another down for the Carolina Panthers now or in the future as the team released him from the roster on Tuesday afternoon.
For now, he is continuing to stay in shape for his next team.
Newton recently took to Instagram and delivered a strong message amid his uncertain future.
“When you are a warrior in battle, you never count the days battled. You just get up everyday and fight,” he wrote.
NBC Sports insider Peter King stated on Monday that Newton might not be on another franchise for quite some time.

“I think this is the worst year for Cam Newton to be on the street, which is likely to happen because the Panthers have shown their hand by signing Teddy Bridgewater. No one knows what to expect from the rehabbed Newton, who last was effective 17 months ago,” he reports.
A healthy Cam Newton is still a problem on the field, so whomever snatches him up will get a baller.
