Cam Newton no longer has to fly around the country to throw to his New England Patriots teammates.
The former Carolina Panthers QB is in the midst of his first season with the Patriots and seems to be loving every minute of it. The Patriots held their first fully-padded training camp practice Monday at Gillette Stadium, meaning Newton participated in legitimate team drills for the first time since signing with New England in free agency last month.
In fact, he was spotted at practice back to his usual self as he stretched and danced at the same time.
Newton warmed up with some stretching and threw a few passes on air before joining fellow quarterbacks Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer for 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 work, according to our Patriots Insider Phil Perry.

The 31-year-old quarterback has plenty to prove in New England after missing 14 of the Carolina Panthers’ 16 games last season due to a foot injury.
