13 days ago, the Atlanta Falcons signed nose tackle Eddie Goldman. Less than two weeks was all he needed to realize he was done playing football forever. Goldman decided to retire.
New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan took a shot at the Falcons organization after the news came down.

Goldman notified the Falcons that he would be retiring after a six-season tenure with the Chicago Bears. In his career, Goldman played in 81 games. In total, he had 175 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 13 sacks.
Goldman missed the whole 2020 season, but he made a comeback in 2021 with the Bears. He participated in 14 contests, starting at 10. In all, he had 22 tackles, including one tackle for loss and 0.5 sacks.

Jordan is entering his 12th season with the Saints after being selected for five straight Pro Bowls.
The 2022 season is not anticipated to bring the Falcons any attention.
