The Pittsburgh Steelers are falling apart on the field and on the practice field.
Pittsburgh Steelers defensive captain Cam Heyward was less than pleased with the request to play music during practice by wide receiver Chase Claypool.
Claypool suggested playing music at practice can help improve moral while the Steelers try to bounce back from two-straight losses.
“We have music in the warm ups and that, so it’s fun,” Claypool said. “People are dancing, having fun. So I think maybe music would make practice more more fun and little more uptempo.”
Heyward really hoped that Claypool was joking around.
“I hope he was kidding because as soon as he said it I was literally about to rip the speaker out,” Heyward said. “That is not what we need right now. It’s X’s & O’s and it’s execution.”

When told Claypool likely wasn’t kidding, Heyward said, “Well then he’s gonna be in shock because there’s not gonna be anything played during practice.”
Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick was asked a similar question, to which his response was, “I think we have to change how we move during the week, whether that’s getting more reps in practice, going at a faster pace during walk-throughs.”
The Steelers are coming off an embarrasing showing against the Bengals that saw them get ran out of the stadium to the tune of a 41-10 beatdown.
The loss dropped them to 5-5-1 and has them in third place in the AFC North.
