The Pittsburgh Steelers are off to a 1-4 start and things are only getting worse off the field.
Steelers defensive lineman Cam Heyward “liked” and retweeted a post that was critical of head coach Mike Tomlin.
After social media went crazy, Heyward took to Twitter and said it was ‘butt’ retweet.
“Ok let me be clear when I say that was a complete accident. I challenge myself to be better and don’t look to point the finger,” Heyward wrote. “These losses I take personal and I need to be better. My head coach and teammates are the ones I care about. I’m on to Tampa see ya Sunday.’

The Pittsburgh Steelers dropped to 1-4 with a 38-3 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and head coach Mike Tomlin is in the midst of making changes beyond swapping in Kenny Pickett for Mitchell Trubisky.
“Absolutely,” Tomlin told reporters when asked if he’ll consider changes to the starting lineup and coaching staff. “When you play like this … everyone understands what happened today was not cool.”
The Steelers have not won a game since defeating the Cincinnati Bengals in overtime, which they won 23-20. Since that shocking victory, they have lost to the New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, New York Jets and now the Bills.
QB play has been less than stellar. Kenny Pickett completed 34 of 52 passes for 327 yards and an interception. For the year, Pickett now has 447 passing yards, zero touchdowns, and four interceptions.
Mike Tomlin took over the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2007 and has amassed a . 643 winning percentage in the regular season over his 15 year NFL tenure. Tomlin’s most impressive accomplishment might be the fact that he has never had a losing season as the head coach of the Steelers.
That might end in 2022.
