Cam Akers has fired back at Maxx Crosby after the defensive end claimed to have handed it to him during their fight this week.
The Las Vegas Raiders held a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday, and things got heated during an 11-on-11 drill, with The Athletic’s Tashan Reed reporting that the incident stemmed from Crosby pursuing the running back aggressively on a rushing play.
Crosby was said to have tried to take the ball from Akers, who was not impressed by the attempt and took exception. The move resulted in punches being thrown.
The Raiders star later told reporters “S, I was just doing what I do. He didn’t like that. So he got what he got.”
Akers took to X to respond, implying he got the better of Crosby.
“Somebody ask him what it was I got?” he wrote. “Anybody with eyes saw what happened”

Cam ended up being tossed off the field while Crosby was sent to the sideline and did not play any further part in that particular drill.
This incident is just one from a growing list of fights that have broken out this offseason, both in training camp and joint practices.
