On Sunday, the Tenessee Titans Traveled to Indianapolis to face off against the Colts. They would lose 17 – 20, and wide receiver Calvin Ridley had much to say after the game.
It’s normal for many players to have post-game interviews at their lockers just minutes after the game ends. Feelings can be very fresh, and you can hear how some players truly feel.
During one of those interviews, a reporter asked Ridley about the team’s desire to make getting him more targets a “priority” during the game.
He responded with a question to the reporter, asking what part of the game most of his targets came from. “Fourth quarter a lot of them,” the reporter said back
Ridley quickly answers, “I need some (targets) at the beginning of the f**king game too. Sh*t’s getting f**king crazy for me.”
Calvin Ridley would finish the game with eight targets for zero receptions. That’s not the stat line you want to see from your team’s highest-paid wide receiver.

It’s clear that tensions are rising in the Titans’ locker room, especially among the offense. The team has now dropped to 1-4, and the playoffs seem only possible with a miracle.
Calvin Ridley Is Still Under Contrast For A While
Ridley doesn’t seem happy with his role on the Titans offense, and that’s unfortunate for him because this is the first year of his four-year $92 million deal.
Regarding total value, Ridley signed the ninth-largest contract in the NFL for any wide receiver.
You would think that if the Titans wanted to shell that much money to the 30-year-old, then the offensive game plan would be built around him more.
