Caleb Williams was the victim of some insane trolling, with a bunch of youngsters getting him to video call them after pretending to be a Chicago Bears coaching prospect.
The Bears quarterback received a message from someone claiming to be Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and did his due diligence by asking if it was actually Ben after the fake Johnson claimed he had been hired by Chicago.
After being assured that he was indeed speaking with Ben, Williams went on to express some excitement over the coaching appointment.

As if the above wasn’t bad enough, Caleb Williams actually called his trolls via FaceTime.
He would find out that the party he had been speaking to was, in fact, not Ben Johnson but instead a bunch of kids.

To his credit, the first-year QB was cool about getting duped.
As for the Bears, they remain in the hunt for a new head coach following the firing of Matt Eberflus earlier in the season. It will be interesting to see who they do bring in, with Mike McCarthy ruled out after the Dallas Cowboys rejected their request to interview their HC.
