Caleb Williams is one of the most talented quarterbacks the college game has ever seen, but he has attracted lots of criticism in recent times, most of which has nothing to do with his ability.
The former USC signal-caller has been called out for his nail-painting habit and became the subject of taunts after he was seen crying with his mother after a loss. It’s also rumored that he’s a bad teammate and wasn’t very popular in the Trojans’ locker room.
Heading into the NFL Scouting Combine, there were some reported “character concerns” where it pertains to Williams, but he may have put them to rest with some incredible gestures.
While he did not participate in the on-field drills, Williams is said to have been the last QB on the field on Saturday night and thanked everyone who took part in facilitating the event, with FOX’s Peter Schrager reporting as much.
ESPN’s Laura Rutledge also spoke to the player’s warmth, revealing Williams introduced himself to the whole production crew before an interview with the network.
