USC quarterback Caleb Williams has until Monday to officially declare for the 2024 NFL Draft, which he hasn’t done yet.
His name is going viral on social media today over something he allegedly said to a team in the NFL Draft.
On social media, a very good fake NFL account stated that Williams told the Bears to give them assurances they would trade the first overall pick before declaring for the draft.
Truly believable as many thought it was real:

Williams was looking to win the Heisman Trophy for the 2nd straight season and lead the USC Trojans to their first National Championship since 2004 but neither of those things would happen.
Unfortunately for Caleb Williams and the Trojans, the 2023 season did not go as planned. After starting 6-0, and putting up Heisman numbers, the team fell off a cliff and lost five of their final six games, and Williams looked much more human than he had the previous season.
Despite his falloff, he is still expected to go number one in the draft.
Caleb Williams will be the first player drafted by either the Chicago Bears or the team that trades up to the first spot to get him.
