Neighbors told Queen City News they heard a loud explosion around Midnight on Monday and also smelled gas.
“A loud boom, about five minutes to midnight,” one was quoted as saying. “A gorgeous house, in all respects, I can’t believe it.”
It’s still unknown if Farley was at the house when the blast occurred. But he was spotted at the scene with his family on Tuesday.
Authorities revealed that the player’s father was identified while crews searched through debris.
Farley was drafted as the No. 22 overall pick in 2021 and has seen his career hampered by various injuries. He was likely hoping to make an impact for the Titans in the coming season but football should take a back seat following such a devastating loss.
