Taylor Swift, rumored to be in a relationship with Travis Kelce, has attended the last two Chiefs games in a suite.
Byron Murphy Jr. is looking forward to the Week 5 clash against the Kansas City Chiefs and hopefully an appearance from pop superstar Taylor Swift.
Per ESPN’s Kevin Seifert, the Minnesota Vikings cornerback said Monday that he hopes to use Swift to get in Kelce’s head during their clash in Week 5.
“I’m going to say something to him to get him going,” Murphy said.
“I’m not hating against it,” Murphy said regarding the NFL’s full embrace of all things Swift. “That’s the world we’re living in. Is she going to come to this game? We’re locked in, but that would be something. I’ve been watching her since I was a kid. That would be cool for sure. . . . Not for him, because we’re going to try to get our hands on him in front of her.”
Let’s be honest it was just a matter of time before a player started trash-talking about this on the field.
The NFL has fully embraced the apparent union between Swift and Kelce, posting pictures on social media of her cheering during Sunday night’s game against the New York Jets. They even changed their bio on Instagram of the 2-0 record that the Chiefs have with her attendance before they deleted it amid an uproar.

Kelce has certainly benefited from his affiliation with Swift as his No. 87 jersey has seen a 400% increase in sales, while the 33-year-old has gained more than 900,000 followers on social media.
The Vikings are coming off their first win of the year and will look to make it two in a row against the defending champion Chiefs who are now 3-1 and on a three-game winning streak after losing their opener to the Detroit Lions.
