It appears that the Philadelphia police were correct in getting the city ready for a celebration. With the Eagles winning their third NFC championship since the turn of the century, the city of Philadelphia made preparations to grease poles to prevent fans from climbing them.
That did not work and it seems that should’ve tried other things. A bunch of fans climbed a bus stop, but their collective weight was too much as it collapsed under them.
Star quarterback Jalen Hurts led Philadelphia to its first NFC title since 2017 and the fan base responded with extreme excitement.
There was never anything they could do to restrain Philadelphia’s fans, who turned out in the hundreds of thousands when the Eagles won Super Bowl LII five years ago.
Enjoy it, Philly.
