Buffalo Bills superstar wide receiver Stefon Diggs took a few moments to give a young fan the memory of a lifetime.
Before the Bills-Detroit Lions Week 12 Thanksgiving Game at Ford Field, Diggs came over to the front row and spoke with a few Buffalo supporters. In a heartwarming gesture, Diggs lifted a young fan over the rails and brought him onto the field during warmups.
Diggs and the boy even took part in a short game of catch with the football. Diggs then gave the fan a high-five before both went on their merry ways.
Seeing your favorite team play live on Thanksgiving Thursday is one thing. But going on the field to interact with one of the team’s premier players? Indeed, this lucky fan will never forget the special day.
Diggs and the Bills are playing their second game at Ford Field in five days. They were supposed to host the Cleveland Browns at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, but the NFL had to relocate the game because of a snowstorm in the Buffalo area.
With the Lions on the road (they played the New York Giants at MetLie Stadium), the Bills were able to use Ford Field as the “home” venue for their game with Cleveland. The Bills snapped a two-game losing skid and defeated the Browns 31-23.

The two-time Pro Bowl wideout is having another dominant season with the Bills. Entering the Thanksgiving game against the Lions, Diggs had 76 receptions for 1,033 yards and eight touchdowns. Only Tyreek Hill (1,148 yards) and Justin Jefferson (1,093) have more receiving yards than Diggs entering Week 12.
After visiting the Lions, the Bills will travel to Foxborough to take on the AFC East rival New England Patriots on Thursday night. The Lions will stay in Motor City and prepare for a home tilt against the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday.
