Damar Hamlin is doing very well, folks – so well, he even asked his doctors who won Monday’s game right after waking up.

Well, no one won that game as it’s been postponed. But doctors let Hamlin know he’s the real winner here as he’s fought to regain consciousness from the brink of death.

Speaking in a video posted to Twitter this Thursday, Dr. Timothy Pitts of UC Health revealed they’ve been able to communicate with Damar via writing as he’s still using a breathing tube, and he was even concerned about the result of the game.

Video: After waking up Damar Hamlin was able to ask his doctors, “Did we win?”

The doctors told him, “Yes, you won the game of life.”
