Buffalo Bills star wide receiver Stefon Diggs posted a cryptic one-word tweet on Tuesday evening, and it’s left social media buzzing.
Many are wondering if Diggs received good news on teammate and star quarterback Josh Allen, who suffered an elbow injury in Sunday’s Week 9 road loss to the New York Jets.
On Monday, ESPN reported that Allen was being looked at for a UCL injury in the elbow of his right throwing arm. As of Tuesday evening, there was no update on his status for the the team’s Week 10 home game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Allen and the Bills had a tough day on offense against the AFC East rival Jets. Though Allen recorded two rushing touchdowns, he was limited to 18 completions for 205 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions on the day. The Jets’ resilient front seven also sacked him five times in a 20-17 upset win.
It was a frustrating loss for the Bills, who are now tied with the Kansas City Chiefs for the top record in the AFC. Buffalo is also just half a game up on the 6-3 Jets and Miami Dolphins for tops in the AFC East.
Diggs is on the verge of hitting 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth consecutive year. Through eight games, the 28-year-old has 83 receptions for 857 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s four touchdowns away from surpassing last year’s personal best of 10.
Allen is having another MVP-caliber season for the AFC East leaders, so Bills Mafia is holding their breath for good news on his injury status. The 26-year-old has completed 64.1 percent of pass attempts for 2,403 yards and 19 touchdowns against eight interceptions to go along with 392 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
Allen missed four games with an elbow injury in his 2018 rookie year, but he hasn’t missed a game since.
