Olympic gold medalist and former WWE signing Gable Steveson is transitioning to the NFL, as he is signing with the Buffalo Bills.
Gable Steveson, just 16 days after visiting Orchard Park in Buffalo, New York for a workout, will now start his NFL career with the Western New York-based team, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
With one of the greatest wrestlers ever acting as a potential diamond in the rough and a certain high-end draw for fans attending training camp this summer, the Bills have outperformed every other team, even the Miami Dolphins, who hosted Steveson for a workout.
Schefter further added that Gable Steveson is listed at 6-foot-1, 275 pounds and will attempt to make it as a defensive lineman.
He is signing the standard rookie three-year deal.

Stevenson confirmed the news.
“I have been fortunate to compete at the highest level of competition in my sport but am looking forward to the challenge of seeing how my wrestling skills may translate to football,” Steveson said, via Schefter. “I am grateful to Coach (Sean) McDermott, (general manager) Brandon Beane, and the Buffalo Bills organization for giving me this opportunity.”
