Tonight just might be the night when we finally see Leonard Fournette make his season debut with the Buffalo Bills.
After sitting out the first few weeks of the 2023 NFL season, Fournette signed on with the Buffalo Bills practice squad, where he has patiently been waiting for his opportunity to play. And it appears as though that time may be now.
According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Fournette will make his first appearance of the season tonight after the Bills elevated him from the practice squad.
Whether or not Fournette gets any touches remains to be seen, as he’ll still have James Cook, Latavius Murray possibly even Ty Johnson ahead of him in the pecking order. At the same time, the Bills are expected to dominate this game against the reeling Chargers.
As 13-point favorites, things could get out of hand quick. And if they do, you can bet the Bills will give Playoff Lenny some work to see what he’s got left in the tank.
