It appears the man was with his girlfriend and a few of his friends, and they were walking through traffic as they left the area. An argument reportedly erupted between the victim and his friends and someone in a vehicle.
That’s when an unidentified person exited a vehicle, and started shooting at the group. Bystanders told CBS News in Miami they heard at least four shots rang out.
“I tried to talk to [the shot man and] I was holding his hand,” Jackson said. “His girlfriend came over and told him he was strong. At that moment, he actually lifted his arm up so there was hope, and maybe like 30 seconds later, his eyes rolled up and that was it.”
The Bills defeated the Dolphins by a score of 21-14, earning the division title for a fourth straight year. Both teams have an 11-6 record.
