A Buffalo Bills fan told a moving story about how he got to celebrate the team’s Week 11 win against the Kansas City Chiefs with his father, who’s suffering from dementia.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills defeated the defending Super Bowl champions 30-21 on Sunday, handing Patrick Mahomes and company their first loss of the season. Buffalo also got some oh-so-sweet revenge from their heartbreaking loss to KC in last season’s Divisional Round.
After Sunday’s pivotal win, X/Twitter user @LowBuffa told the beautiful story of celebrating the Bills’ win with his father. He claims that his father is now in a care home and doesn’t call his son much, but he made an effort to do so after Sunday’s monumental victory:
My dad, who has dementia, lives in a memory care facility now. We can carry on a conversation sometimes but he rarely ever calls me.

Is This Finally The Buffalo Bills’ Year?
Many people have said “This is the Bills year” in the last four years, but might 2024 be different? This year’s Chiefs are vulnerable and clearly Buffalo’s biggest threat to a Super Bowl appearance.
The Buffalo Bills are more balanced on both sides of the ball than last year. If this isn’t the year they get to the Super Bowl, one can ask if they’ll ever get there in the Josh fallen era.
