At roughly 2am ET on Tuesday morning, the Buffalo Bills released a statement regarding the status of Damar Hamlin.
At the time, through their Twitter account, the team informed the football world that Hamlin suffered cardiac arrest on the field during Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals. They also said his heartbeat was restored on the field and that he was in critical condition at the UC Medical Center.
Approximately 12 hours later, the Bills released another statement via their Twitter account.
This time, they revealed that Hamlin spent last night in an intensive care unit and that he remains in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
The team went on say that they are “grateful and thankful for the outpouring of support.”

It’s obviously not the update that we were hoping for at this point, as everyone continues to wait to hear some good news on Hamlin’s condition.
Hopefully that will come at some point today. For now, all we can do is wait and pray for the health of Damar Hamlin.
