Looks like week 11 has it’s second significant schedule change, as the Buffalo Bills-Cleveland Browns game as officially been moved due to inclement weather.
There were reports circulating that the game had potential to be postponed or moved due to several feet of snow from what the National Weather Service is describing as a “paralyzing” lake effect snow storm.
Not wanting to risk the game, or the safety of any of the players, coaches or fans, the NFL has now decided to act “out of an abundance of caution” and move the game to Ford Field in Detroit.
The move makes sense, as Ford Field is a dome and is also in fairly close proximity to both Cleveland and Buffalo. As for the hometown Lions, they just so happen to be on the road this week in New Jersey to take on the New York Giants.

When you sort it all out, the move shouldn’t work as much of an advantage to either side. The Browns will be happy to avoid the raucous Bills Mafia, but they also would have likely had an advantage in the blistering snow with their ground game.
Now that the two teams are playing in the comfort of a dome, we’ll have a better chance of seeing Josh Allen air it all out over that sketchy Browns defense.
Interestingly enough, this is actually the second big schedule change of week 11, as they league announced earlier that they were flexing the Kansas City Chiefs-Los Angeles Chargers game into primetime on Sunday Night Football, moving the originally-scheduled SNF game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals into the 4:35pm time slot.
