On Monday, Joe Burrow took to Twitter and jokingly stated he would be calling it a career before he gets to the NFL after he was measured with 9-inch hands at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Burrow was also listed at 6-foot-3, 221 pounds and a 74-inch wingspan.
“Considering retirement after I was informed the football will be slipping out of my tiny hands. Please keep me in your thoughts,” he tweeted.
If that wasn’t hilarious enough for you, the official Twitter account for Bud Light jumped in his comments and jokingly stated they could use his small hands to open their Bug Light mini beers.
Burrow has yet to respond to the offer, but it looks like a prime endorsement opportunity for the soon-to-be No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Might as well make money off it since the company is basically receiving free press with that comment.
