Vita Vea is listed as 6-foot-4, 347 pounds on his official NFL.com player page. Simply put, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle is one enormous human being.
Despite his ridiculous size, Vea sure can move out there on the gridiron. But even for an athletic freak like his, not everything comes easy. Like, let’s just say for example, taking off his jersey and shoulder pads. Something that may seem so simple is apparently anything but that for Vita. And viewers of last night’s game between the Bucs and Eagles witnessed Vea’s struggles first-hand.
As Erin Andrews interviewed Leonard Fournette after the Bucs’ 28-22 victory, Vea was spotted in the background, seemingly trapped in his shoulder pads while a trainer attempted to free him from the contraption:
Looks like a giant many stuck in a Chinese finger trap.
Thankfully, Vea was freed from the trap and the jersey-swap was allowed to continue without any further incidents.
