Rob Gronkowski will get his longtime QB back after he got traded to to the Tampa Bay Bucs, but will he get his favorite jersey number as well?
In order for that to happen, Gronk has to go through Jordan Leggett.
Leggett wore the digits last year for the Bucs, even though he did not appear in a single game.Hours after the trade announcement, Leggett took to Twitter and made Gronk a deal to get the number.
“Hey @RobGronkowski I’ll give you #87 for 1 million,” Leggett wrote.
Leggett was clearly not being serious as he followed it up with the below tweet:

Gronk wore the No. 48 in college, but would switch to No. 87 when he got to the pros.
Bucs wide receiver Chris Godwin willingly surrendered the No. 12 to Tom Brady, but we’ll just have to see if Leggett does the same.
