Tom Brady not only led his team on a game-winning touchdown drive with under a minute remaining in regulation against the Rams today, but he also became the only quarterback in NFL history to surpass the 100,000-yard passing mark for his career.
It was just the latest in a long line of records that Brady will likely never surrender (at least not anytime soon).
As you may or may not remember, another one of those records came last year when Tom Brady threw for his 600th career touchdown (becoming the first player to reach that mark as well).
Mike Evans was on the receiving end of that pass, and immediately after the score, he handed the ball to a lucky fan in the stands, not realize just how significant the touchdown (and therefore, the ball) really was.
Not wanting to see Evans—or any other Bucs player, for that matter—make the same mistake, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Twitter account sent out for following message, which could be taken as a bit of a dig at their star wide receiver.

Thankfully, it looks like this ball was stored away safely after Brady set the new benchmark with it.
And he got the 16-13 win in the most dramatic of fashions, bringing his Buccaneers back to the top of the NFC South with a 4-5 record. Could this be the win that the Bucs needed to turn their season around? We were to quick to write off a 45-year-old Tom Brady?
Looks like we’re about to find out during the second half of the 2022 NFL season.
