The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are likely to lose one of their best players this offseason after already losing Tom Brady to retirement. But they’ve managed to muster up some excitement ahead of their minicamps for the 2023 campaign with an intriguing announcement.
The team took to Twitter on Wednesday to tease the return of its throwback creamsicle uniforms, which are known to be fan favorites.
The fit, which bears a unique combination, was due to return last season. However, there was some difficulty in putting those plans in motion due to limited global supply. The reintroduction ended up being delayed but it appears the vintage unis are finally ready to be unveiled.
The teaser, shown below, leaves little doubt that the creamsicle uniforms will be returning in 2023. Check it out and see.

The concept was staple for the Bucs from 1976-1996 and made a return in 2009. But the team hasn’t worn creamsicle since 2012 after opting for a new Nike design set after 2012.
Throwbacks have become a trend in the NFL so, while fans would have hoped to get such an announcement a lot sooner, it stillcomes at a great time.
