Sure, the Panthers’ o-line put forth a solid performance last season (finishing as the 11th best unit according to PFF), but most viewed that as an overachievement. And Saturday’s performance in the team’s preseason opener seemed to confirm that.

Needless to say, everyone on social media was very concerned for Bryce Young’s well-being. Many are already predicting that the young signal-caller won’t make it through an entire season behind this offensive line.
It’s hard to argue with anyone who thinks Bryce Young won’t last a season like this. At 5’10” and 204 pounds, those hits will undoubtedly take a larger toll on the smaller quarterback.
The Panthers still have two more preseason games remaining. It’ll be interesting to see how many more beatings they allow Young to take before they feel like he’s ready to go for week one against the Falcons.
