Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young has received a number of positive reviews from his new coaches and teammates alike, but fans simply cannot get over his height as if he wasn’t the same exact size while playing at Alabama.
Leading up to the 2023 NFL draft, all the talk concerning Alabama quarterback Bryce Young was his size. At 5-foot-10, 200 pounds, Young doesn’t have the prototypical size of an NFL signal-caller.
His jersey and number are not helping him beat those allegations either.
The Carolina Panthers’ official Twitter account tweeted out some pictures of the top pick in his new threads, and the sheer size of his number 9 made him look incredibly small.
Despite question marks about his size and not having elite arm strength, Young’s leadership and poise led to him becoming the No. 1 overall pick by the Carolina Panthers in April’s draft.
Over his three years in Tuscaloosa, Young threw for 8,356 yards and 80 touchdowns, adding another seven touchdowns on the ground.

Young will always have to face doubts about his size, but if he produces on the field, then nobody has much to say about him.
