The 2023 NFL Draft is just over two weeks away, which means there’s plenty of time for things to change ahead of the crucial event.
Fans could see a few more picks traded heading into the draft, changing the order of the board. But there’s already been one recent change that is pretty interesting.
Bryce Young is now the favorite to go No. 1 overall as it appears there’s a widespread belief that the Carolina Panthers will pick the former Alabama quarterback over his buddy C.J. Stroud, with the latter leading the favorites category for several weeks.
Caesars has Bryce as the outright favorite at -130 while Stroud is at +100. The 21-year-old is also the leading candidate at DraftKings.
Either way, Young and Stroud should be the top two selections when the draft comes around. But we’ll just have to wait and see who goes where.
Meanwhile, both NBC’s Peter King and Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer have tipped Young to be the first player off the board.

“The momentum toward Young is real,” King wrote.
Breer has reported that Panthers owner David Tepper and his wife Nicole spent a lot of time with Young’s parents at the Alabama Pro Day while the player gave a great account of himself when he met with head coach Frank Reich.
It’s understood that Tepper is high on Young and, while he isn’t expected to tell the team to draft the QB, everyone would be well aware of where he stands.
