Baker Mayfield is certainly not going to like this. It was just earlier this week when the Cleveland Browns QB took to Twitter and fired back at the fan base who were calling for the team to make a play for Deshaun Watson.
Watson has reportedly demanded a trade from the Texans and it has led to speculation of which teams will try and come after him.
The latest mock trade proposal has ESPN’s Bill Barnwell proposing an insane idea that the Browns trade Mayfield, star receiver Odell Beckham Jr, as well as the 26th overall pick in 2021, a 2022 first-round pick and a 2023 fourth-round pick for Watson.
“It’s tough for me to imagine the Browns hitting the reset button on their core after their first playoff win in 26 years, but Watson might be worth it,” Barnwell wrote. “The Texans would get two first-rounders and both their quarterback of the future and a possible replacement for DeAndre Hopkins in Beckham, who is coming off a torn ACL.”
The Texans can get back a young QB as well as top WR to replace what they lost in DeAndre Hopkins. Cleveland, in the meantime, gets a much better quarterback that can put the team in a position to win a Super Bowl in the future.

Per BetMGM, the Browns are +10,000 to land Watson, with the Cardinals (+15,000), Ravens (+15,000), Bills (+15,000), Seahawks (+15,000), Packers (+20,000) and Chiefs (+25,000) having worse odds.
Despite throwing for 4,823 yards and 33 touchdowns, the Texans finished the season 4-12.
