The Browns and the Texans will forever be attached after they pulled off a mega trade that sent QB Deshaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns. Even after that trade, the two franchises don’t appear to be done with each other.
According to Browns insider Brad Stainbrook of The Orange and Brown Report, the Browns and Texans have had talks regarding wide receiver Brandin Cooks.
After what they already gave up to get Watson, it’s not entirely known what the Browns could possibly give up to the Texans now to pull off this trade.
Even without a QB like Watson behind center, Cooks had a career year with the Texans this past year. He had a career-high 90 receptions for 1,037 yards and six touchdowns, leading Houston in all categories.
Watson would love to have that type of talent on the Browns.
Cooks has only missed 10 games and has six seasons with over 1,000 receiving yards.
