This is such a bizarre story.
On Monday, the Browns announced they had signed undrafted running back L.J. Scott out of Michigan State. It was a glorious moment for Scott who took to Twitter and posted this:
Two days later, he decided he no longer wanted to play football anymore and promptly retired from the game.
Four years at Michigan State — Scott racked up 2,855 total yards and finished as the program’s ninth all-time leading rusher. Unfortunately, due to a nagging injury, he appeared in just five games during his senior season.
