The Cleveland Browns have now ridded themselves of their second star receiver in less than a year. Four months after releasing Odell Beckham Jr. in the midst of the 2021 season, the team is now parting ways with Jarvis Landry.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke the news, as Amari Cooper’s arrival meant Landry was expendable.
It may not take long for Landry to find a new home, based on reports, as the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs are already believed to be interested in the veteran wideout.
Landry’s release means another star wideout is available. He joins the likes of Allen Robinson and Juju Smith-Schuster on the open market.
