The Cleveland Browns cut Odell Beckham Jr. during the 2021 season as the marriage between the two never really worked out. But that may have something to do with who they had as a quarterback at the time.
With Baker Mayfield on his way out of the organization following the trade for Deshaun Watson, the Browns are once again looking like an attractive destination for Odell.
Browns safety John Johnson III got those wheels turning when he said on his Instagram live that OBJ could be making a return.
“OBJ coming back,” Johnson declared, via Brad Stainbrook of 247 Sports. “You ain’t hear it from me tho.”
Beckham is fresh off a Super Bowl win with the Los Angles Rams, but suffered a torn ACL that will have him missing a large chunk of the 2022 season.
In the meantime, the Browns traded for Amari Cooper, who will slide into the team’s number one wideout role after they parted ways with Jarvis Landry as well.

The craziest part is that Odell and Landry could be back on the squad, with Mayfield being the one on his way out.
